DNF @ 40%. I understand that fantasy involves a certain suspension of disbelief. But I'm not buying in that any police force would let a character with no law enforcement training at all assist a detective in any official or paid capacity. Or that said character, despite being a long-lived demigod, took acting lessons from Shakespeare. AND killed Jack the Ripper. My TBR is too long for this level of nonsense.
