She's acting like a childish brat by refusing to follow rules meant to keep her safe or even do simple things like clean up after herself.
He's acting like a complete asshole punishing her transgressions by either locking her in the attic (she told him that was a childhood punishment that used to terrify her) or by force feeding her chocolate cake (she's anorexic!).
They're both awful & I am done with this shit.
