Asa is revolting against Yoru giving dingy some of her blood to revive him. I love this development in their relationship.

The following devil is taken out by a figure that looks like chainsaw, man, although it is obscured by the gore of the following devils remains, placing the scene in a doorway, gives a lot of focus to the drawing. It’s rather impressive.

The only thing giving Denji a will to live is that he wants to have sex the vulgar simplicity of his dreams is unlike any main character I’ve ever encountered and it’s hilarious and refreshing

I’m obsessed with the panel of Denji and Asa holding hands suspended in the darkness, the drawing is so compelling and I love how he is trying to reestablish her will to live

As Asa is falling in contrast to the black crows, we always see you see white doves, if the crows represent death, the doves represent life and the fact that Denji is about to save her. Asa says “even if it was with only one person, with all my heart I wish I’d……” and then Denji and to save her does this mean she was talking about him when she was cut off?

When the following devil sneaks up behind Asa she grabs her by the head in the same way that she holds her supper head and we see just the lower part of her face the upper part of obscured. I love the way this looks. It gives a super creepy effect.

Who was it that gave Denji blood to keep fighting

It seems the falling devil makes you relive trauma as you fall. The artist uses this to give us more backstory for Asa and to show us the scenes of Power and Aki just before they died. Unlike the chef imagery, this actually relates to falling it probably represents your life flashing before your eyes.

I like Denji calling Asa his potential ex-girlfriend instead of his potential girlfriend, his excited but pessimistic dream is hilarious

I like the falling devil collecting pieces of human as ingredients as nonchalantly grocery shopping. It’s very chilling although what does being a chef have to do with falling all the other devils powers and character design have to do with their name
