lowkey gotten 40% of this last chapter. i do not like that the book took this turn, i wish Jurgis’ story was actually concluded in these last few chapters.

decent chapter. I liked the plot but then (like usual in this part of the book) it took another political turn but I actually understood and liked this one the most and I can understand how it made the book so popular in the 1900’s

this is too much. even little Antanas died? what the fuck.

Might get searched and caught rn but the end of chapter twenty caught me off guard, I was actually getting a little bored of Jurgis finding himself a new, good job and then have it end in an instant, just like it had probably felt for Jurgis.

a pretty good and sad chapter.
