I am becoming so attached to the people and Finn the guard dog is a great addition.

Bartholomew the monster bird can stay. Also Evelyn and Daniel = power team. I'm invested.

I wasn't sure how I felt about the characters at the start but I can now say with confidence that I hope that Evelyn and Daniel survive this Lovecraftian mountain tower together. I love their growing friendship! But girl needs to go easy on the bird, it's not THAT bad. (famous last words)
