I feel like this is so hard for me to get through for some reason. I was enjoying it earlier in the year but needed to take a break from reading due to other life things. Picking this back up feels like a slog. I might push through the remainder and put the series down. I’m in a slump and might start a different book to help pull me out. Oh well 🤷🏻‍♀️

Fin ch35: haven’t updated in a while because life… but I did listen more! So much to unpack. I like the little murder mystery vibe. Manon and Abraxos are my fave. More deep lore stuff. Cool scene on the lake. I wanna know what that creature was!

Fin ch 26: Manon 🤍 Abraxos 🐉 🥹 I’m in love with this underdog wyvern, he’s my new favorite 😭. Interesting exchange between Chaol and Dorian regarding Celaena’s true identity. Love the mystery creature and want to know more. Seeing Celaena’s flat from Aedion’s perspective was really interesting. Dorian and Sorscha is cute.

Fin ch22: okay it’s picking up and I’m in it. So much information. Love the shifting. Loved the skinwalker fight. Chaol is dumb. That thing in the forest that caused Celaena to enter her memories was wild. Hope Dorian/Sorscha relationship continues to bloom. Manon and the riders is sooooo sick. Can’t wait for war games. Aedion 🤍

Fin ch13: okay Maeve I see you. Rowan is a prince. Training for fire abilities, nice. Manon and Titus are already my new favorites. That’s gonna be epic if it comes to fruition 🧙🏻‍♀️🐉 love Emrys and Luca 🥹 wholesome. Witchy history. I’m here for it.

Fin ch6: Celaena is crashing out, but determined. Chaol is having bad dreams. Introduction to Manon. Stoked to see more witches popping up (I liked Yellowlegs as a villain for that brief moment in the last book). Introduction to Rowan. I thought fae were eradicated? I guess not? Bargain tattoos? Aedion and the sword of Orynth. Excited to learn more.
