Why is she like denigrating this massage therapist's skills by insisting it was actually a magic gd massage

If she was just talking about how her faith helped her cope with kidney failure I'd have no issues with the book but she's both lied about a dozen things and also implied heavily that her Indian Doctor was Possessed By A Demon

Like you can say it's miraculous that you found a match but she's acting like she just Got Better

The thing is, if she was just honest, this would still be a story I think a lot of Christian's could find inspiring.

But to her things need to be so much worse than they ever actually were to make it matter.

She needs to have died (which she didn't)
Her son needs to have been condemned to never speaking (which he wasn't)
