This book… this effing book. She will be his “the one that got away”. She will haunt him. He will be “the one she stuck around too long for/gave too many chances to”. The one all others pale in comparison to. I know they shouldn’t be together… (but still want them to? Somehow… it can all magically work out? Right??) I am not okay. 😣

What is this book?? Who is this author?? Characters are written in such a unique way… so layered… their insecurities laid bare mercilessly… And yet… it makes them all the more painfully relatable. Truly impressed.
