I used to love Victoria Holt when I was a teenager! I don't remember reading this one though. My favorite was Mistress of Mellyn.

That is so fun! I can’t believe I’ve only now discovered her. Mistress of Mellyn was delightful!
I recently learned she is also Jean Plaidy and Philippa Carr!
oh I read almost all the Victoria Holt, Philippa Carr Jean Plaidy I came across in my teens. I loved them, but it's been years.
Prolific! I have one of her Jean Plaidy books to try too!
