I'm not sure how to feel about the ending, it was a bit cookie-cutter, a bit too short. I wanted the media storm, the detectives' shock, the PKR staff chatter. Bit too neat n tidy...hmm.

Page 367.
So here's a familiar trope, cliche, formula or whatever it is- the rich kid n poor kid being friends, one dotted on, with overbearing parents, usually the rich kid (or they're spoilt but ignored) then the neglected, left to run amok poor kid, ones a terror but with the potential to be good then the other, not so much...you guess which it is, but I swear the formula is often the same.

Poor Daniel (。•́︿•̀。) he deserved better, he deserved so much better.
This book is wild and uncomfortable.
Also you that mad n determined but you couldn't leave that one situation??? Really? Just an excuse to revell in self pity and be a victim, I think. Also cos they're insane and evil.

Page 358. Ok, so it's a bit unrealistic. I mean if you are up close and personal you can tell how old someone is. A teenager pretending to be an adult with lots of makeup suddenly looks like a kid again up close, you see the softness of youth, an older woman that looks younger with surgery, up close you see the signs of her real age, you see the stretched and altered skin. Implausible !!!++!

On page 343 but Goodreads says there are only 341 pages. My edition has 373, I think. I think we're getting that awful day revealed finally!!!+

Reading this book myself will make the rating harder to do, because I am fond of this book for the simple fact it is the first book I've read in years. Although I may be terribly upset by the ending. It is a super depressing, dark, icky story anyway.

It feels like there are so many pages left. I want to know what happens!!+
