Oh, I hadn't even thought of Shakespeare when I read it. I loved the vibes and detailed descriptions throughout.

His writing is beautiful! The scenes with Donatello and Miriam in the woods reminded me so much of Narnia.
Those are beautiful literary connections you made to it. It definitely has a dreamy quality to it.
