Simon has been a bit of a dick to clary by blaming her for not liking him back in the previous book as if clary did something wrong by just not being in love with him and like just deciding she is his girlfriend in this book without talking to her but like yeah if I saw my crush be magically decreed to be kissed by who she desires most and then have that be her brother instead of me I would also flee in disgrace

ok actually i have thoughts on this jace is so right and everyone should stop defending Maryse for disowning him, he is literally a child who is being tossed around nad manipulated his whole thing and she just TOSSED HIM OUT i get she thinks he's a spy but he is also a teenager and she is an adult like she should not be tossing him out into the streets that's crazy
