I did not love this book. I have a deep respect for Le Guin and her writing. Her prose is clear and straightforward, but I found a lot of the characters to be flat. The worlds and culture were unique and the themes and philosophy were interesting at times. Maybe I’m just not cut out for Sci-Fi. Thanks for the ride!

Since when?? They played at it as kids, and he’d been locked in his bedroom on the ship, but prison is far away from either of those experiences 👀
