oh, isadora. i am you and bennett and adrian all in one.

while i don't agree with Isadora's actions (do i, though?) there was something incredibly cathartic about chapter 10. in a way, she is living the dream.

"If I could tell good from evil, maybe I could choose, but I was more baffled now than I'd ever been."

this book has me laughing my ass off on one page, to swallowing a deep rooted frog in my throat the next page.

it's never over

it's like a more humorous bell jar. melancholic but not too depressing. interesting and relatable in ways that make me feel less lonely. i feel if this book goes correctly, it may become one of the all time favorites.

and don't worry, i am still reading dracula. i'm not really enjoying it (i think the epistolary style of it isn't for me) but i must finish it so i can feel validated in that.
