I’m excited to read this again with a group in a lifelong learning class led by the editor.

I just read Willa Cather’s story The Garden Lodge, which I’d never read before. Wow! What an incredible story. I’d love to put it next to Mrs. Dalloway and compare.

I just finished reading the excerpt from Swann’s Way. It was a wonderful choice for this book.

I had not read that Langston Hughes story before—wow! I’m glad that I’ve already read Yuval Taylor’s book Zora and Langston, as it provided some wonderful context for it.

I just finished a Carson McCullers story I haven’t read before that’s astounding. And next up is a Katherine Mansfield story. This collection is such a treasure trove.
