Wulfgar is the most annoying character at many points on the overall story and everytime I think about the fact that he was originally the main character, I am so thankful that drizzt spoke up more to salvatore as the more interesting choice

Another disconnect from the origin trilogy that was written after is the order of events that lead to drizzt and guen. We've reached the battle of ten towns and i am again reminded that humans suck.

An early detail that was retconned by the origin trilogy of the age of drizzt. A passing detail is that drizzt spent 200 years underground. But the origin trilogy claims only 50(ish).
