First cult book I’ve read since starting graduate school and the cult leader has already (seemingly and likely) improperly and (definitely) unethically diagnosed the author with borderline personality disorder. Wild. Weird how many new things I’m recognizing reading this with a different lens than I have read similar books in the past. Also it seems like her therapists pre-cult sucked BAD and that makes me sad.
