Harrowhawk and Gideon's dynamic is a bit grating, but the world building is fantastic.

The early parts of this book don't make for escapist reading if you too are being forced to move locations because of the whim of your boss.

Everyone and my father have been after me to read this book. Not totally sold on the prose style, but the universe is interesting.
