having watched the movie i already know how the book goes, though some scenes were left out or combined and all that.

but i don't think i was fully ready for the optimism of henry and alex when they go to take to henry's grandmother. Casey obviously wants a happy end for these two and this is how to get it, but i can't help but shake my head at the literal crowd cheering for them

knew the 3rd act communication was coming up cuz i watch the movie when it came out, but i still wanted to vomit, cuz it was so good and well written but i have very violent reactions to poweful scenes

also i love this book, have i said that. these little queers mwah

i know this was their debut novel, but GAHHHHHHHHH i love how they write intamacy between characters. I HATE THESE LITTLE QUEERS. i need them to kiss and also fall off a bridge, can someone arrange this?
