It’s so sad how there’s this acknowledged tension between her and Nick that gets built up since the beginning of the book and now that they finally get to do something about it all the huzza is removed and then some to the point where he, whether serious or not, suggests ‘squirting into a bottle so that she could pour it in’

The show makes June this badass but I have a feeling this is going to have a 1984 type ending

The girls are so quick to believe Moira successfully escaped. I feel like Janine is being set up. Either that or Janine is straight up LYING

The way the birthing scene is depicted feels actually more tragic than the ceremony

The ceremony scene was not what I expected it to be. It wasn’t as lustful on the part of the oppressors as I thought it would be. It makes you wonder how this society got here to begin with
