The random page here slamming the president and how the pandemic was handled is a bit on the nose. It’s like a commercial interruption in the middle of the book, this page of random politics cutting into the story of Josh and Luis just as something significant is about to happen. It’s the horror genre version of a female comic making a menstruation joke. It’s cheap, not untrue but still amateur.
