The more I listen to this audiobook, the more I feel children's books are best read with my eyes for me. And avoid first person perspective with children's books.
The voice feels too young for me to comfortably relate to while consuming. I think I need to be able to internalize a more adult narrator, which the audiobook gives me no room to do.

Checked this out of the library hoping to get the letter Z off my alphabet reading challenge list. What's tough is that it delays the start of reading the Hundred Thousand Kingdoms for me, but there are priorities and this is one of them.
