Daniel Read the new one without rereading these, and was like constantly, "who?" every time he mentions one of the other characters. Then I had to go back and check my reviews to see if the writing in the earlier ones was as... umm, <_< as I found it in the new one.

The choppiness of the writing is driving me nuts! If it had been like that in the previous books I wouldn't have made it to this one. Is that what you're referring to?

Yeah, it just doesn't flow logically from one sentence to the next a lot of the time, so I was like, is it worse or was I just really forgiving when I read the earlier books. I'm not sure honestly, but I definitely noted in my reviews of the first 3 that it wasn't great.

Yeah, it just ..."

The writing has always been choppy and kind of stream of consciousness. ๐Ÿ™ˆ I don't mind it as much when the plot has me engaged, which so far for this one, it does. But the previous one nearly did me in.

Daniel I definitely was less conscious of it once the plot kicked into gear, but I'm curious to see what you'll think of the latest one.
