I think this author is credible because he shares his personal experiences. Some may say that he is unreliable because he is crazy and has unhealed trauma. But his details are so specific that it is obvious it only happes to one person

One word I chose was Crazy. It has a negative connotation because it is the word he uses to describe his bad flashbacks of war. Another word I chose was 'horrific,' which normally has a negative connotation, but in this case, it takes on a positive connotation because the author loves the thrill of war. He describes the war as horrific & how it sucks, which also has a positive connotation because he says he loves it

The author's style is informal. He uses a lot of slang and dialogue in his writing. A lot of his writing is the author's thoughts in his head. The tone is very intense, as he is nonstop doing things in the midst of war with no time for breaks or pauses. The language he uses influences the audience by showing the mind of a person at war, with no time for resting and living or dying.

I think the author's main goal is to get rid of his 'Crazy" feeling. He feels restless, and when he is on a run, his main obstacles are his brain. His brain can't shut off at night, and he can't stop thinking about flashbacks to the previous war.

The author's hook was that he called himself Crazy, but Crazy is what he refers to as his PTSD. It also flashes back to his time in the war. It caught my attention because it made me curious about what his Crazy is.

I chose this book because I enjoy learning about wars, and this book is from a veteran and his personal experiences; more importantly, his struggles. I think it will be interesting to learn about his mental struggles because I feel like men often conceal their struggles with mental health, especially during war, when you have to keep staying strong because your life is on the line.
