I have 12 minutes left in this Audiobook - I cannot imagine how it will wrap up .. I am so nervous for Jeanette and so hopeful for her and. Yeah.

I don’t know how this spiral will stop. It will have to come from within her, not outside intervention. But I hope it happens soon. With such an intimate read, I feel close to her. I don’t want people to judge her. I want someone to see her then like we, as readers, do now.

Almost at the halfway point, I suppose. I am trepidatious because I feel the same discomfort with Jeanette growing up that she describes. It’s just .. hard to separate from the youthful image she clings to. I want it to work for her and protect her. But it can’t. Above all I just want her to be free.

The details are continuing to become more and more disturbing. I’m hooked, though. I loved ICarly and Sam and Cat as a child, and it’s just terrible to know what it put her through. I would take it all back if I could. I might re-watch to see if I can notice the signs.
