What in the Christopher Columbus brainwashing fairytale garbage? sheesh…our MC is smart but dang the religious righteousness and delulu tendencies of colonialism have a strong hold over her. Literally living in a bubble of xenophobes and misogynists. I’m sure it’s all the point but so frustrating to read! Still a good book so far.
