i really really like this book but i also really wish it was more intersectional? cause like. there’s no way the four most notable female philosophers we should be talking about here were all western white women. some diversity of thought would be very nice.
in the meantime though. very much stewing on “all life is suffering, and the trick is to find the suffering that’s worth longing for.” hmmmm

i need. cosmic therapy where they send you up into the stars and you unwind the thread that makes you to find the knots and understand what’s wrong with you. and that way i wouldn’t have to be in my body when i feel like this

we gotta talk philosophy at some pt bc it has slowly consumed my brain
i read thru a lot of the intro materials bc my prof left us access to them after the class ended cause we didn't cover Everything
women in philosophy is just. such a fascinating topic all in all
tbh i think theyre the group of thinkers most responsible for making stoicism like. something that could fundamentally operate by applying it to other areas instead of being like. grr we are strong and logical
looking at this book kinda reminds me of beauvoir i feel like this is her vibe idk
yoo hell yeah well first i’d have to take a. pretty big crash course on philosophy cause i’m very very clueless so far
