hmmm i love the way weather is so visceral in this book and morvern is truly one of the narrators of all time, but im also a little bit less enchanted as time goes on, i feel like the points have been made and nothing new is really being added now, repetition not working in its favor

making her return now has such a strange effect on the arc of the story, also the just-so-happens lyrical parallels are üiling on a bit too much right now (looking at you sunrise pub) but i love morverns struggle with remaining culturally a worker
