this story is magical and I love it. It reminds me of a very self aware In Five Years. And in fact the premise is so closely related I wonder if this book was inspired by that. Some things about the book are a little “on the nose” though - the apartment is really “B4”? The lemon pie? Like I feel like some of this is too obvious, I think there must be a twist at some point because it’s just like TOO OBVIOUS
