Whoever has been ghostwriting for Joanne Fluke also wrote this book. I’m so sad! Allie calls Rex and tells him she’s going for a walk and he says “Say hi to Carol” and they have a ridiculous conversation about how he knows where she’s going, exactly like the door knock pattern conversations in Joanne Fluke’s books. So disappointing!

So many blatant little mistakes. Allie and Mr. Beecher are talking about Melonie’s ex and how they have no idea who he was, she never even told anyone his name. Then “He could even have changed his last name so we wouldn’t suspect a thing.” Why would it matter if he changed his name, when no one knows what it was? In between this, she put her picture on her flyers so anyone could find her from anywhere!
