oh my god... the solution of socially pressured anxiety of depression is finding god... I need to lay down this book keeps getting worse

I'm going crazy. I just got to the part where he brings up the "Let it grow" project and children said they were just so scared of everything because of how overprotective their parents are. That most children didn't cook because their parents made them terrified of burning the food or the house down. etc etc. Are phones responsible for anxiety and depression? Yes. Are parents blameless? ABSOLUTELY NOT. BUDDY REPEAT THAT CONVERSATION ABOUT THAT STUDY AGAIN. "Its a homework assignment that schools can do to stop students from using phones and interact more with their homes and families <3" The point buddy. You missing the point. If parent's are cultivating a mindset in which children are afraid to attempt things then they are creating a fear/anxiety around new things and experiences as well as a strict perfectionism mindset that tells their children "Do NOT try things unless you KNOW you are good at it." Which is only exacerbated in online spaces. Online manipulation, anxiety and depression BEGINS in the house and in the social programing already impressed upon the child. I'm stopping. No more talking. I'll save it for the review
