one of these worlds feels like book 1. one of these worlds feels like the licanius trilogy. and one of these worlds feels like... i don't know what, but it's bleak. i think maybe my biggest issue is that three of the main characters are the same person, lmao, so it's leaving less room for the secondary characters that are part of what made book 1 such a standout...
