I started this last night and I love it so far. I will say that the thing really tugging at me is the way that the author writes Jacob’s perspective as an old man. A lot of books and movies of course talk about getting old and losing your youth and shit but for some reason the way the author writes him here is so heartbreaking and particularly makes me afraid of getting old
