It’s getting so good. Seeing where Marcus is going spiritually is encouraging, as well as Haddassah’s humility and boldness in the Lord. I long for those around her to see that it’s God’s work in and through her, not just her being a good person. I see so many relations of this book to daily life as a child of God, and am liking it!

Oh my goodness is this book getting good!!! Look at God moving the hard hearts!! I admit I was a bit impatient in the beginning of the book, but boy was it worth the wait for these moments. So much better than just a romance book- it goes deeper than that into how God romance’s us to follow Him. So cool that this is displayed in a 70AD setting with the Roman Empire!

Ahh I love this book so much!! God is healing so many, turning their hearts toward himself! Really hoping for Julia and Marcus that they will turn towards Him.💕

It seems slow developing but the plot thickens… I’m intrigued to see where it goes from here.

I’m learning to accept that currently this book is more about the salvation of others than romance from the previous book. Super encouraging how the characters are finding their faith, but I am hopeful for romance in the future haha.

It picks up a year later after the last book, and there’s lots of division, grief, and tension. My heart breaks with it but I’m hopeful for restoration!
