I LOVE BOOK PENELOPE, and for Colin I'll probably say a few things in my review later. BUT DEAR GOD it was a crime for netflix to change most of the plot for the adaptation because we don't see this much polin interaction in the series (& it was their season!) & I don't remember gasping when I was watching the carriage scene but let me tell you that I was lost for words when i read it because they were CRAZY for it!!
