this prose really is beautiful and super evocative at times, but it's kinda doing too much all at once.

Like this: "She'd done nothing but be very nice to a triptych of cows. The logistics of being a folkloric horror were very daunting." Did we really need "triptych"? Why is that sentence calling so much attention to itself when it should step aside for the next one?

I didn't make it far into campaign 3 but Laudna was my fav. The high rating on this is encouraging, though I hope it'll be understandable still for a c3-idiot like me
