Hit chapter 10, and the struggle for this one is still there. Not sure if I'm just overthinking a lot of the information we've been given, but a good chunk of it only feels relevant for maybe a paragraph and then we move on from it in that "Well, neat! Anyway..." sense. I guess we'll see how book 1 ends and if my opinion changes.

Struggling with this one so badly. The overall writing in general is pretty good - I genuinely like the overall story and its concept, but there's not much that's making me feel attached to the characters. So hopefully vol.1 finishes strong, or vol.2 gives a little bit more to it...
