There was a fair bit to chapter 3 that while insightful, didn't offer much guidance going in to, especially for those who already have experience with setting boundaries. It did point a fair bit at journaling, and brain dumping. But for those of us who already do that, it just felt like hearing what I already know.

Surprisingly a lot of helpful techniques in this. Except for the demon bit. I've consumed too much pro-demon media to think of them as anything other than hot.

Taking a phone call while in the middle of reading about Thio eating booty - these are the priceless moments in life.

"I'm pretty sure you are my system now." Hook, line, and sinker. God damn, Thio.

Seb talking about how all his ex and Orok's exs didn't like them being close, and meanwhile I'm just sitting here like, "Damn. Story of how all my solid friendships fell apart."

Meanwhile, Thio saying, "It must be nice to have a friend like him," and I just start *sobbing*.

Thoughts so far: Orok is best wingman. And also just the image of Seb's dad cockblocking him and Thio is really funny.

Anyway, this got extra spicy in the best way possible.

The banter and sexual tension have won me over.

Promised a friend I'd read this back in December and that just did not happen. Now here I am struggling to push it down. It's not bad, and there's a fair bit I am enjoying, I just am not in much a mood for first person POV. LOL Its fine tho. I'm sure it'll win me over eventually.

Lots of neat concepts and techniques to put into practice.

I truly wish GRs didn't glitch my reading shelves so badly. ._. Having to go through and clean all of it up feels weird.

I wish for life to not so I can simply finish this book and be destroyed by it.

Let us never forget Xiao Chiye's coming out to his father scene. Absolute classic. I love this goober and his dad so much. And yet I fear for the old man. Their relationship tells me something is gonna happen, and I'm not prepared.

This whole chapter with Xiao Chiye got me *nervous*.

I am about to punt GRs so far into the gd lakes if it keeps glitching out on me trying to finish reading and rating a book. This entire week has been AWFUL.

I can almost see the finish line, fam.

3 chapters left. I can't wait to be done with this one. lol
