yeah definitely less nuance going on here and also needed slightly better editing...it's not Bad or anything but i wish she'd taken an extra couple months to clean some of this up and get it on par with Spin of Fate

this book is a lot less subtle and nuanced than spin of fate

i know aranel lost his sword but i'm not even a little bit over him carrying meizan's instead. i want to fling him into the sun
