Okay i swear it’s only vaguely concerning but like there is a super clear pattern in the shojo mangas I’ve read that the main pairing always mirrors Roy and riza…either that or I’m trying to make any connection back to them because I’m desperate (also very plausible)

(either way this isn’t much of a startling pattern—when it comes to shojo, I’ve only read yona & library wars all of the way through)
