Book so good the consummation scene made me cry

I fear the original cover actually did occur in the book — I just didn’t remember he was half dressed, I was censoring my memory of the moment

I have my own contempts. That if Christian were not a duke, if he had no money or power or name, no one would have helped him. Maybe… maybe Maddy, if she’d know him.
