Its midnight. It’s 20 degrees celsius (70F). The ceiling fan is on high. I have 100 pages left. And I’m sweating not from heat but from what is to come…
Nothing good is going to happen in the next 100 pages. I’m going to bed so I can read the rest in the daylight so when I inevitably sob my eyes out, the sun will help sooth my spirit when the depression sets in.
