I’m torn between loving the drawn out sarcasms and being borderline annoyed that the average length of her sentences must be at least three times that of the rest of mankind. Lol. Am I alone in this thinking?

I don’t know if Jane Austen is for me…no doubt witty in her writing but I feel the adjectives are overdone and the book is drawn out for no reason. I don’t hate it but I’m not in love with it.
