Do you ever like a book but don't like it at the same time. That is my dilemma. Enjoying the audio but the protected woman her story is not a strong storyline for me.

Yes! It’s an odd disconnect when this happens to me but it’s happened a couple times more than normal this year.

Book 3 is when I really got into this series. I am glad I stuck with it. If you go on with the series, don’t let book 2 put you off from it!!! I hope the book picks up for you! Can you increase the speed at all to make it go a little quicker? Sometimes that helps me 😁.

Marta, glad to hear the series picks up. I really am liking the writing. Just not the "heroine" lol that you suggested to speed it up. I was at 1.3 and now am at 1.8
