Uhmm why is it only 279 pages? I loved this book so much that I printed out the entire FTL which ended up being the size of two textbooks 😬almost two years ago. I’m nervous that it’s not going to be as good now.

i noticed how thin it looked in a reader’s picture on instagram and was so confused, bc i know, too, how long the story is after reading the ftl

@kaylina I had just started to consider 350 page books acceptable because I used to get upset when they were under 400 pages 😂 I understand they do have to find a good spot to end a volume but sometimes they don’t even do that right 🙄 Just going to keep reminding myself how thankful I am for all the danmei they are publishing. I do appreciate Seven Seas but 279 pages is not okay.

Page count and quality go down while price stays the same 😒🙄 but I guess they can "afford" such things because they don't have much competion.
I was excited to pick this one up but that is concerning, especially when you consider the glossary thats at the end of these books. I am 0% surprised that 7S would do this cash grab stuff though

@Evie And let’s not forget the story doesn’t even start until page 10 so it’s even less pages 😩 This should have been 3 instead of 4 volumes
Not to mention that the inner art is a little... Idk! I think the artist would do better in a baihe story instead of a danmei.The thin paper... The low page count... The "special edition" yet it being expensive af. 7seas has been disappointing me. Especially since we got AN ACRYLIC STAND with vol 2 of Drowning Sorrows in Raging Fire through Rosmei! I can't... I try not to think how frustrating it is.
I know this story isn't that long either. It's less than 120 chapters.
@V~ I love Rosmei’s books and extras so much! They are so worth the money and such great quality. I love their hardbacks too!
i try to tell myself this means more lovely covers but it's still really annoying 💔 sometimes it's just so underwhelming and it gets cut off in the weirdest places as well.
