I was very sad with O’s death, it was horrible, but what Saeris did was plain stupid, reckless and imo selfish! I get she’s grieving, but she’s putting herself in danger (and Fisher, since she knows he’ll follow), and thus leaving the whole realm in danger of dying. So, so reckless! And Fisher backing her up unconditionally was stupid too. He wouldn’t risk her and millions of people for a fox. Ever!

I love how Fisher is fiercely devoted to Saeris, but I think it’s a bit too over the top sometimes, especially when he feels beneath her, less than. I don’t like that one bit, and it’s very unrealistic for a 1700yo guy to do so for a 20 something girl he met what, 2 months ago? There is no need to make him feel less than her to show his love and devotion for her! And he is 1000% deserving, too! 🥰

So much is happening!! And what a scare with Tal! Devouring every chapter and Fisher.. what a man you are. And such a romantic, who knew!! 🔥🥰

It kind of slowed down, but I’m still very intrigued. The thing with the birds? Loved it. Fisher’s mother letter? Beautiful. Him making things ok with Foley? Lovely. The scene with Taladaius? HOT! 🤣

Enjoying it very much! Fisher’s POV is so good, better than Saeris’ imo, but the story as a whole is progressing nicely. Carrion is the funniest and I can’t wait to know more about his story… the hint we got on his delirium with the venom was 👀
Meeting Foley was also interesting, for a moment there I thought he was in love with Fisher from his reaction 😂

Laughing out loud with the banter between Carrion and Fisher!! They’ll be BFFs soon, I bet!! And what a 🔥🔥 first scene between Fisher and Saeris… they’re perfect together! I wish she communicated with him more, especially about her pain and runes… I was a bit skeptical about her trusting Taledeas with all of this, but I hope she is right in doing so!
