Ten pages in and already having a bad vibe. It really isn't well-written. MC's immediately sooooooo rude and defensive for no reason. Ik he's drunk but it's annoying. A neighbour inviting a child into their flat because they don't want the child to be sitting outside a locked door for HOURS is fine actually. I hope this is just his drunk attitude because ugh.

I ran out of words but I HAVE to simply keep going- Ignorance of normal relationships leads children to not realize which kind of behavior towards them is normal and which kind is predatory! They need a framework, a reference for normal relationships with adults! And not to mention children NEED to know how to interact with people outside of their family so that if their family is abusing them, they know it's wrong. This is making me so mad and I'm only 14 pages in.

Also this is a NEIGHBOUR NEXT DOOR WHO INVITED THE KID IN SO THAT HE WON'T HAVE TO SIT IN FRONT OF THE APARTMENT FOR HOURS. HE INVITED YOU AND THE KID IN TO FEED YOU. Rude beyond comprehension and making me think if this is even really from Japan.
