a story about an evil step mother and sister. Nice short read. I was surprised I finished it so quickly. I like that the author included the original stories too. I do wish this book contained more stories. With how view words are on each page, it goes quickly. I would read 100 of these. I do like the illustrations tho. It originally drew me to the book. I may contain this as genre suggested by another. The kids said

I should read a graphic novel. My mom said I should read true crime tho. I do want to read more of these. I did not want to take out too many but they have been shorter than I expected. There is one about a boy growing up in Sarajevo I want to read next

My library had this graphic novel. It’s shorter than it seems. It has more pictures and less words than I expected. The illustrations are beautiful. I like the style. I enjoy fairytales and always have. I think it’s an interesting way to teach children lessons. Certain tropes such as the evil step mother pops up across cultures.
