literally took me a minute to remember and remind myself maeve isn't real

no no no, i knew this would happen, just why, why??? i am so upset i can scarcely bring myself to finish the book. their mother's just pure evil, i don't understand what other angle there's supposed to be?? unless you're christian i guess?
