yeah the history of this world continues to confuse me, but the main plot is fire so far

Locke just has so much fun scheming that it’s honestly contagious

I’ll admit it took a while to really get into this book, the world building is definitely more high fantasy and I had to re-read sections a couple times to really understand them, but I think I’m settling into it now.
Let the games begin!

I would sell my soul for a third Six of Crows book, so if these characters and heist are even half as good as that book I’ll be very very happy. Obviously I understand not all heist stories are Six of Crows, but some reviews said this book is like a high-fantasy adult version of it and I really hope they’re right.
